Statistics for February 2007
Statistics for the public website and Clusterweb can now be found on Knet.
CFE/directory/website statistics
The CFE pages on the public website show a small drop from January's all time high. School admissions both primary and secondary and Apply online for a school are among the most requested pages.
Clusterweb statistics show a dramatic increase in the use of the clusterblogs.
ClusterWeb User Manual Version 6
I've finished the first draft of this, which contains a walkthrough on using the new CMS editor and has been updated to include a more detailed Forum Moderator's guide.
It'll contain information on blog admin as well when I've finished writing it.
I've already given a copy of this to Tracey for her to check and test to see if it makes sense! Can you have a look at it and let me know if it makes sense reading it through?
Clusterweb Statistics
for December 2006 can be found on:
G:\ED E-Government\clusterweb\statistics\cw-statistics-dec06.doc
They are considerably down on previous months, most likely a seasonal drop.
Web Statistics for December 2006
for the kent.gov public site can be found on the shared drive
G:\ED E-Government\Kent.Gov Work\statistics\CFE website statistics December 2006 smt.pdf
In this reporting period (December) there was a significant overall drop in traffic across the board. Web team think this is most likely to be due to seasonal distractions.
CFE Web Statistics for November
These are for all CFE pages on the public website
The Web Team have confirmed that there is a discrepancy in the November Statistics for a 10 day period Nov 1 - 10th. This is because of an anomaly in the code that records the statistical information, unfortunately this information cannot be retrieved. The figures recorded are for the period 11 – 30 November 2006. Normal monthly service will be resumed for December.
They can be found in G:\ED E-Government\Kent.Gov Work\statistics
Clusterweb Statistics
Clusterweb stats for November are up yet again on October, reaching a total of 570,645 page views.
They are in G:\ED E-Government\clusterweb\statistics

The 10th anniversary of the birth of e-government is next week...
"Back in 1996, (Muid says,) "We were saying 'let's clear up this mess'." And what about now? "Now? We've got a digital interface to that mess."..."

Blog Guide for Admins - first draft
This is a very rough draft and it's incomplete (sections in red have been completed) but I thought it might be useful to have it here so you can all have a look at it. I'm also working on a basic blog user's guide so will post that too once there's a bit more to it!
any comments welcome.
Training on CMS, Blogs and ClusterWeb
Since we now have Martyn with us and Janet, you're working on coming back to us full time, it seems a good time to try and make sure we all have the necessary knowledge on things like CMS, blogs and the odder points of CW Forums, Calendars and admin.
I don't know what you would all prefer - whether a whole day trying to take in three systems would be a good idea or completely brain-numbing? or whether you'd like three separate sessions, each one concentrating on a different system.
Let me know what you think and perhaps some thoughts on when would be best to try and organise this for. I am particularly aiming this at Adam, Martyn and Janet, but Tracey, Jill, if you want to come along that's fine too!
(this may also be an excuse for Adam to think about when he'd like to train us on KNet...) ![Angel [A]](/cs/emoticons/emotion-13.gif)

i hope you all received your appraisal forms / actions planning sheets and the CIG business plan for our June meetings and are as i speak planning your personal targets and development requirements ............I know you are .............as TCP affects us all this year we will need to have our plans in place in good time.
fun with OLA
just received the quotation for OLA upgrade and a highlight report for the new work.............Alan Clarke's team have given Simon a quote with choices which could add up to £12 K and also Alan suggests if any more changes get thought of we won't make September ...........
So at the meeting on Monday 22nd i hope the wish list agreed includes a change request which Alan and iSG can deliver for Sep 1st ( no errors )
I have pointed out it has to be certain no time slip or inaccuracy .......I keep lapsing into Times Roman and black instead of Verdana purple.

New Team Blog
Hello everyone
As requested at our last team meeting, here is our new team blog! I have disabled pinging and indexing so the posts should not be immediately visible to other users of the site.
Be aware that this is an internet based blog and as such, the might of Google's search may well be able to find us - post accordingly.
The Gallery is enabled, and you should all be able to post here. From what I recall of the meeting the idea was that we used this area to log tasks that we were working on or that had just come in and would require delegation - that sort of thing! We can use the comment function to give colleagues input on tasks they are working on if we have prior knowledge of the situation or an existing contact etc.
I'm also going to work on producing a proforma for tasks to be filled out whenever a new request for work comes in. I'm not talking about filling it out every time someone wants a spelling error corrected on ClusterWeb, but if the task is likely to take more than a few hours to complete and may require additional work/research, it should be logged so that any member of the team can know some basic information about it: whose task it is, what is entails, when it was requested, who asked for it etc.
Any thoughts on this?
We can also use this blog to practice everyone's blogging skills!
