Kent NGfL Website Feedback

This is new feedback post for 2008 

The Kent NGfL website is a very popular teaching and learning website used by schools all over the world.

We are always looking for ways of improving our website and so we are very interested to find our how the Kent NGfL (KentEd) website is being used by teachers and children.

Examples of use:

  • Planning lessons
  • Ideas for using ICT across the curriculum
  • Keeping up to date with the latest ICT development
  • Finding out what other schools are doing
  • Downloading teaching resources
  • Quick access to other resources on the internet
  • A reminder of when ITN are
  • Knowing what courses are taking place and when
  • Website of the week

What impact, if any, is the Kent NGfL having on helping teaching and learning in your school?
What would you like to see more on the site?

We have the Kented website as the homepage on all computers in the school. I am amazed at the wide variety of topics covered and frequently find new discoveries. It is always our first port of call for resources to support the teaching and leaning in our school.

We would love more Teaxtease resources and other resources to support festivals if poss.

Just keep going and doing what you doing.

A great one stop shop really!! It is great to be able to access information in one place or be able to find where I need to go!!

Having uptodate information on the front page is very useful and also the link to the other Kent websites.

In relationship to school planning it is a useful area to find ICT links especially with the links to the school websites.

You can never have enough reminders and so it is useful to have important dates visible

Thank you for all the time and effort it takes to keep this website current.

I use your website a lot.  I particularly like the 'Website of the Week' link, and the 'Teaching Resources' link on each subject page is my first port of call when planning a unit of work.

I find your site immensely helpful for ideas/resources for lessons, ICT blog is very interesting.  I am always finding new things to pass on to teachers at our school.  It helps us keep up to date with ICT news and info.

I am a very regular visitor to the Kent NGfL website - it really helps me to keep up-to-date with all the current goings on in the world of ICT.

I have found out about a lot of useful websites and software through this website, and I have passed this information on to colleagues.

I also know that it comes highly recommended by staff from other local authorities!

A fantastic resource.
